UI/UX Designer

About the role

We are looking for a UI/UX designer who can help us design the UI/UX and wireframes for our iOS and Android apps as well as e-commerce applications. The UX/UI Designer is responsible for a set of activities, including conducting initial user research, driving a solution vision based on business and user insights, designing desirable and intuitive multi-channel experiences, developing wireframes and visual designs, and iteratively validating solutions with users. Individual designers may not possess all skills, but should demonstrate deep expertise in two or more areas.

Skills needed

• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Requirements

• BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
• Proven 1–3 years work experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
